Location: Hybrid (Portsmouth, UK)
Salary: £30,000-35,000 per year based on experience.
Role Overview
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced, commercially focused environment. The Contracts and Compliance Support Lead will play a key role in managing contract workflows, supporting negotiations, and ensuring the business adheres to legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements. The role involves working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
You’ll be based from the Portsmouth office with hybrid working (2 days per week on-site), and benefit from a supportive working culture that encourages development and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
Contract Support
- Manage the contracts and compliance ticketing system, triaging requests and maintaining SLA expectations.
- Review documentation, including commercial contracts, data processing agreements, and supplier forms to ensure alignment with policy and legal standards.
- Coordinate input from stakeholders and ensure final versions are client-ready.
- Maintain clear documentation trails for edits and decision-making.
Contract Management
- Review and approve sales and renewal contracts, ensuring compliance with internal policies and tracking exceptions. Review commercial agreements ensuring compliance with internal policies.
- Respond to or escalate queries as needed, maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct spot checks and take corrective action where necessary.
Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
- Review, edit, and approve NDAs, ensuring clarity and legal soundness.
- Participate in customer communications when required, explaining terms and negotiating adjustments.
- Implement and maintain a structured system for tracking and managing NDAs.
Data Compliance
- Support reporting and analysis of compliance metrics.
- Manage approval documentation for specific contract terms.
- Assist with audits and contribute to a culture of data compliance.
- Lead documentation efforts for contracts and compliance initiatives.
- Support deliverables linked to the data compliance roadmap.
Skills & Experience we are looking for:
- Experience in contract administration, compliance, or legal support.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyse complex documents.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally and managing multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with contract management tools and Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of contract law and regulatory standards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
